Nicoh James Mayhew, a 25-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was tragically murdered on December 19, 2012. Nicoh was visiting his mother's home in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, with his 2-year-old son when he was gunned down in front of the house. His mother, Cynthia, was inside the house and heard the gunshots. When she rushed outside, she found Nicoh lying in a pool of blood on the driveway, with his son beside him, injured from a gunshot wound to his arm.
