On January 13, 2015, Seydina Oumar Soumagel, a 32-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was found fatally shot in the hallway of the Balmoral Towers apartment building located in the 6800 block of Liberty Road. Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Soumagel suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
