On a tragic day in April 2015, 40-year-old Vedrana Mendoza was found dead in her Parkville, Maryland, home in what police determined to be a murder-suicide. Concern arose when Vedrana, an employee at Oak Crest, failed to show up for work, prompting her employer to request a police check on her welfare. Officers arriving at the family's residence on Cromwood Road on April 10th made a grim discovery.
