Cornelia M. Cheston, aged 72, and her husband, Major Elliott Burwell Cheston Jr., aged 71, were found dead in their Union Bridge, Maryland home on May 3, 2015. The couple's deaths were investigated as a possible murder-suicide. According to reports, Cornelia's daughter requested a welfare check on her mother and stepfather after not hearing from them since April 30.
