On the night of August 14, 2015, the sound of multiple gunshots broke the stillness in the Yorkway area of Dundalk, Maryland. Baltimore County police officers patrolling the neighborhood heard the shots just before 11:00 p.m. and began to investigate. Their search led them to the 2900 block of Cornwall Road, where they discovered a black Honda Accord.
Inside the vehicle was 23-year-old Tyrone Anthony Creighton, a Black male, who had been shot several times.
Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, but Creighton's injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the location. Investigators believe that there were witnesses to the shooting and have appealed to the public for any information that might lead to the identification and apprehension of the person or persons responsible for Creighton's death.
Despite the passage of time, the homicide of Tyrone Anthony Creighton remains unsolved. Law enforcement officials have continued to seek new leads in the case. A cash reward of up to $2,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. As of now, there have been no arrests made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with the fatal shooting. The case remains an open investigation, and authorities continue to urge anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
