In the quiet neighborhood of Dundalk, Maryland, a young life was abruptly cut short in a burst of violence. DeShawnte Young, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Tuesday, February 23, 2021. The incident unfolded in the 2900 block of Yorkway, where police responded to a report of a shooting shortly before 8 p.m.
