Lawrence Pitts, a 37-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, died on December 17, 2015, following a violent incident. Pitts was involved in a home invasion in the Little Village neighborhood on December 16, 2015. During the invasion, Pitts and his accomplice, Ronald Williamson, 35, forced their way into a residence on the 2200 block of South Avers Avenue.
