On May 1, 2024, 29-year-old Ozarius "Mayne-Mayne" Jones was tragically killed in a shooting in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Blackstone Avenue, where Jones and a 33-year-old man were standing on the sidewalk when an unknown assailant opened fire.
