On the night of October 1, 2015, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, 20-year-old Tylique Shyheem Proctor arrived at the area of Cedar Furnace Circle and Lacrosse Lane for what he believed was a prearranged meeting to sell a weapon. It was a setup that would end in his death. When Anne Arundel County Police officers responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 11:38 p.m., they discovered the young male lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
