On a Wednesday afternoon, October 30, 2019, tragedy struck in Glen Burnie, Maryland, forever altering the lives of the family and friends of Andre Lee Garrett. The 39-year-old male was on a break from his job at a senior care and rehabilitation facility on Hospital Drive. At approximately 3:09 p.m., in what should have been a moment of respite, he was shot.
