On a tragic Friday the 13th in November of 2015, the lives of a mother and daughter were cut short in what police described as a domestic dispute in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Lakeysha Walters, a 40-year-old female, and her 25-year-old daughter, Shaneka Walters, were found shot to death inside their apartment in the 1400 block of Southern Avenue. A third individual, 45-year-old James Gibson, was also found deceased at the scene, a victim of the same violent outburst. A fourth person was also shot but ...
