Latrina Ashburne, a 41-year-old woman from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically murdered on May 27, 2016. Ashburne, who was a pastor and an elementary school worker, was shot in the early morning as she was getting into her car outside her home in the Cylburn neighborhood of Baltimore. According to police reports, an unknown male approached her and shot her in the upper body as she tried to run. The motive behind this heinous act was later revealed to be witness retaliation.
