A sense of normalcy was shattered on the morning of February 20, 2023, in a West Baltimore neighborhood. Renyse Michelle Jones, a 41-year-old Black female, was on a porch in the 2700 block of West North Avenue when gunfire erupted. The mid-morning violence left Jones with multiple gunshot wounds to her head and upper body.
