On the evening of September 6, 2018, Tracey Elizabeth Carrington, a 25-year-old former Morgan State University basketball player, was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred as she was getting into her car after leaving a bar on Overlea Avenue. A suspect approached her and shot her multiple times before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
