In the summer of 2016, a tragic event unfolded in District Heights, Maryland, forever altering the lives of several families. On June 24th, 50-year-old Carlina Renee Gray was fatally shot inside a home on Orleans Avenue. The violence of that day was not limited to her alone; it was a triple homicide that also claimed the lives of 55-year-old Jan Marie Parks and 60-year-old Allen Rowlett. Two other individuals were wounded in the attack but survived.
