Alashia Ervin-Bethea, a 20-year-old woman from Southeast Washington, D.C., was tragically shot to death on June 10, 2018, in District Heights, Maryland. The incident occurred in broad daylight around 10:55 a.m. in the 2700 block of Lorring Drive. Police officers responding to the scene found Ervin-Bethea inside a car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
