On a Sunday morning in June of 2018, the life of 20-year-old Alashia Ervin-Bethea was tragically cut short. The young woman, a resident of Chaplin Street in Southeast Washington, D.C., was discovered in a car in the 2700 block of Lorring Drive in District Heights, Maryland, just before 11 a.m. on June 10th. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Ervin-Bethea was rushed to a nearby hospital.
