On the evening of November 20, 2016, in Laurel, Maryland, a violent encounter led to the death of 46-year-old Gregory Myles of Fort Washington. The incident unfolded inside a residence in the 13200 block of Deerfield Road, where police responded to a report of gunshots around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Myles inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
