Kaiyon Stanfield, a 20-year-old resident of Laurel, Maryland, tragically lost his life on December 18, 2016, in a double shooting incident. The shooting occurred in the 9400 block of Woodsong Court, where Kaiyon and his cousin, Khalil Stanfield, were both shot. Kaiyon was found in the front passenger seat of a car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Khalil, who was also shot, survived the incident but remained in serious condition.
