In the early hours of March 12, 2024, a violent altercation at a recording studio in Laurel, Maryland, claimed the life of 23-year-old Louis B. Rackett of Washington, D.C. The incident, which also resulted in the death of another man and injuries to a third, unfolded at approximately 1:34 a.m. in the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue.
