In the summer of 2017, a young man's life was cut short on a Sunday evening in Baltimore. Dante Hicks, a 23-year-old Black male, was in the 1200 block of Harwood Avenue on June 25th when he was fatally shot. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Hicks succumbed to his injuries, leaving a community to grapple with another act of gun violence.
