In the early morning hours of September 24, 2017, a party in a College Park, Maryland apartment took a tragic turn, ending the life of 24-year-old Rogelio Sierra Duran. The gathering, held in an apartment on Cherry Hill Road, was disrupted by an argument that escalated into violence. It was during this altercation that gunshots were fired, fatally wounding Sierra Duran, a resident of Silver Spring.
