On the evening of March 9, 2018, the life of 28-year-old Tryon Aldo Vice of Edgewood, Maryland, was cut tragically short. Just before 11:30 p.m., deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 900 block of Woodbridge Court following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Vice suffering from a single gunshot wound to his upper leg.
The deputies immediately began to render aid to the injured man.
Paramedics from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company arrived on the scene shortly after and continued life-saving efforts. Despite their combined attempts to save him, Tryon Aldo Vice succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators processed the scene and, based on the evidence they collected, determined that Mr. Vice had accidentally shot himself. The Harford County Sheriff's Office concluded that the shooting was self-inflicted and ruled his death an accident. As a result of this finding, there were no suspects or arrests in connection with the incident.
