In the quiet community of Accokeek, Maryland, the life of a dedicated law enforcement officer came to a tragic end on the night of January 24, 2019. Corporal Patrick 'P.J.' Mann, a 45-year-old male, was found deceased inside his personal vehicle which had run off the roadway in the vicinity of Route 210. The initial discovery prompted an investigation by the Prince George's County Police Department, as the circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear.
