Death by Force

Patrick "P.J." Mann, a 45-year-old school resource officer from Accokeek, MD, tragically passed away on January 24, 2019. Mann was found deceased in his personal vehicle, which had run off the roadway in the 17000 block of Beech Lane off Route 210 in Accokeek. An autopsy revealed that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound just prior to the crash. Mann's death was not the result of a car crash or a homicide, and there were no other vehicles involved.
