Brandon D. Clark, a 22-year-old from Accokeek, Maryland, tragically lost his life on January 24, 2007. The circumstances surrounding his death were highly contentious and led to significant legal proceedings. Clark was shot and killed by Keith Washington, who was the Deputy Homeland Security Director for Prince George’s County at the time. The incident occurred during a furniture delivery to Washington's home, where Clark and his colleague, Robert White, were delivering furniture.
