On the evening of January 24, 2007, a dispute over a delayed furniture delivery in Accokeek, Maryland, tragically escalated, leading to the death of 22-year-old Brandon D. Clark. Clark and his colleague, Robert White, both employees of Marlo Furniture, arrived at the home of Keith Washington to deliver bed rails that were replacements for a defective set. The delivery was originally scheduled for earlier in the afternoon, and the delay had agitated Washington.
