On June 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Accokeek, Maryland, resulting in the death of Patrick Savoy, a 55-year-old resident of Charlotte Hall, MD. The shooting took place during a weekly car meet event in the parking lot of Manokeek Village Center, located in the 7000 block of Berry Road.
