On June 13, 2024, at approximately 11:45 pm, a tragic incident occurred at a car meet in Accokeek, Maryland, resulting in the death of 48-year-old Sheldon Proctor of Waldorf. The shooting took place in a shopping center parking lot in the 7000 block of Berry Road.
