In the spring of 2019, the life of Sidney Brewer Jr., a 35-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland, was abruptly cut short. On the evening of Tuesday, May 14, 2019, Brewer became a victim of gun violence in the city. His death was part of a violent night in Baltimore that saw at least two other individuals lose their lives.
