On May 25, 2024, Denzel Johnson, a 17-year-old from Baltimore, was fatally shot in a double shooting incident that occurred in the Mosher neighborhood. The shooting took place around 3:42 PM on the 900 block of North Dukeland Street, where police responded to a ShotSpotter alert.
