In the summer of 2019, a young mother's life was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. Yasmine Wilson, a 20-year-old female, was fatally shot on the evening of Wednesday, July 3, 2019. The incident occurred at the corner of North Rose and Orleans streets in the McElderry Park neighborhood of Southeast Baltimore. At the time of the shooting, Wilson was pushing her infant daughter in a stroller. Miraculously, the child was unharmed in the attack that claimed her mother's life.
