Joaquin Hinojos, a 20-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on September 7, 2014, in Lynwood, California. The incident occurred around 12:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of 110th Street. Hinojos was standing on the sidewalk with two other individuals when a light-colored sedan approached. A person exited the vehicle and opened fire on the group.
