On a late Saturday evening, the quiet of a Lynwood neighborhood was shattered by gunfire that ended the life of 32-year-old Salvador Ortega Sandoval. The shooting occurred around 11:20 p.m. on April 4, 2026, in the 3100 block of Lynwood Road.
