Kali Tyree, a 22-year-old father and former football player, tragically lost his life on July 18, 2019, in a double shooting in Northwest Baltimore. Tyree, who had a 5-month-old daughter, was a former student at Delaware Valley University in Pennsylvania, where he majored in business administration with a focus on sports management.
