In the spring of 2007, the life of 17-year-old Shawn Lamont Weaver was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of March 21st, violence erupted in the 1800 block of Clifton Avenue, a neighborhood already grappling with a high rate of violent crime. It was there that Weaver was found, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
