Shawn Lamont Weaver, age 17, was shot and killed on March 21, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Clifton Avenue, a neighborhood that had been dealing with numerous violent crimes at the time. Weaver was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. His tragic death added to the increasing number of young victims of gun violence in Baltimore during that year.
