In the quiet of a Sunday evening in Reisterstown, Maryland, the body of 28-year-old Jerry Josiah Eley was discovered in a parking lot, setting in motion a homicide investigation that would take months to yield an arrest. On December 29, 2019, at approximately 8 p.m., Baltimore County police were called to the 12000 block of Tarragon Road after a report of a person lying on the ground.
