Payton Markel Marshall, a 21-year-old from Woodbridge, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on September 7, 2020, in Hyattsville, Maryland. The incident occurred while Marshall was sitting in a white Acura TLK sedan near the 1800 block of Metzerott Road in Adelphi, MD. He was waiting to meet someone when he was fatally shot. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the case remained unsolved for nearly three years, leaving his family in a prolonged state of grief and uncertainty.
