Tavon Brown, a 20-year-old from Baltimore, was tragically killed on September 24, 2020, in the Friendship Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Western Avenue and 45th Avenue NW. According to reports, Tavon Brown was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was also injured in the shooting and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
