In the early afternoon of a late spring day, the life of Todd D. Davis was cut short by gunfire in Baltimore, Maryland. On May 25, 2019, the 35-year-old Black male was in the 1500 block of North Ellamont Street in the Southwest district of the city when shots rang out. Responding to the sound of gunfire, police officers found Davis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the immediate arrival of law enforcement, Davis’s injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at
the scene. The Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Unit promptly opened an investigation into the fatal shooting, canvassing the area for evidence and seeking information from the public.
In the years that have followed, the case of Todd D. Davis's death has remained open. To date, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with the shooting. Authorities have continued to appeal to the community for any information that might lead to a breakthrough in the investigation and bring closure to the family and friends of Todd D. Davis.
