In the winter of 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in West Baltimore, leaving two young men dead and a community searching for answers. One of the victims was Darius Massey, a 24-year-old male, whose life was cut short on the evening of Tuesday, January 21st. The incident unfolded around 10:15 p.m. when police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Winchester Street following a ShotSpotter alert.
