Meron Normac Benjamin, aged 31, was tragically shot on January 9, 2009, in the 200 block of Maude Avenue, South Baltimore. He sustained multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to a local hospital. Despite being in stable but critical condition, Benjamin remained hospitalized for over 13 years until his death on May 28, 2022.
