In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Annapolis, Maryland, the life of 28-year-old Shawn Lamar McGowan was tragically cut short. On October 18, 2020, just after midnight, gunfire erupted in the 100 block of Clay Street, a residential area in the city. When Annapolis Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic situation with multiple victims. McGowan was found in the rear of a residence with injuries consistent with being shot.
