On August 22, 2010, the life of Wendall Ortiz, a 52-year-old Hispanic male from Louisville, Kentucky, came to a tragic and premature end. Known affectionately to his friends and community by the nickname "Chilli Dawgg Bone," Ortiz was discovered deceased in the western portion of the city. Authorities were alerted to the situation and responded to the scene at approximately 617 South 24th Street, a residential area in Louisville.
