Death by Force

In the early evening of a June day in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 19-year-old Abdifatah Hussein was tragically cut short. On June 7, 2018, around 5 p.m., police were called to the 5400 block of Mitscher Avenue in the Iroquois neighborhood. There, behind a building near South Third Street, they discovered the body of the young male. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. This act of violence marked the 39th homicide in metro Louisville for that year.
