On the evening of February 19, 2021, tragedy struck at the intersection of East Capitol Street and Yacht Place in Capitol Heights, Maryland, when officers responded to what was initially reported as a vehicle collision at approximately 8:50 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene inside a car where two young men had been shot.
