In the early hours of July 1, 2021, a man was found lying on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West Mulberry Street in Baltimore, suffering from a gunshot wound. The man, identified as 38-year-old Clark Hohrein, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy would later confirm that he died from a single gunshot wound to the neck. Hohrein, a father, was remembered by loved ones as a 'goofball' who enjoyed making people laugh.
