Clarence Goode, a 28-year-old man, was found dead on June 21, 1996, in Baltimore, Maryland. His body was discovered in the trunk of his car by police responding to a report of an abandoned vehicle in a rough part of the city. Goode had been shot in the chest and back, and a bag of cocaine was found inside his underwear, suggesting a staged scene to make his death appear as a drug deal gone wrong^1^.
