On July 25, 2017, Necole Raheem, a 28-year-old male, was shot and killed on the 4900 block of Greenspring Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland. Raheem was one of many victims of gun violence in Baltimore that year, as the city struggled with an increasing homicide rate. The shooting occurred in a residential area, but police were not immediately able to determine a motive or identify any suspects in the aftermath of the incident.
