On a summer afternoon in Owings Mills, Maryland, the life of 21-year-old Deras Washington was tragically cut short. On July 22, 2021, Washington, a male resident of Arnold, was discovered inside a vehicle that had driven up onto a curb at the Brookside Common Apartment Complex. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the right side of his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
