In the autumn of 2021, a young man named Cornell Young, a 22-year-old from Baltimore, was tragically killed in what authorities described as a brazen daylight robbery. The fatal encounter unfolded on the afternoon of October 14, 2021, just one day after Young had celebrated his 22nd birthday. He and a friend had driven to Annapolis and were in a parking lot on Pleasant Street when the deadly events began to transpire.
