Kareem Tyriq Wilson Jr., a 15-year-old from Greenbelt, Maryland, tragically lost his life on February 1, 2022, following a shooting incident. The shooting occurred in the 7800 block of Mandan Road, where both Kareem and his 19-year-old brother were shot. Kareem sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His brother, who was also injured, survived with non-life-threatening injuries^1^.
