On April 7, 2022, Jerric Michie, a 20-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Monument Street. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found Michie suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
